Services and Benefits

SERVICES

 

24-hour residential care, 7 days per week, nutritional services, coordination of medical care and supplemental services

​

1. Assistance in obtaining medication

 

2. Coordination of physician’s care and the provision of transportation

 

3. Medication administration and monitoring. Ongoing education for residents about their medications.

 

4. Coordination of ancillary services such as physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

 

5. Provision of pastoral care services, support of regular church attendance, and visits by local
pastors and trained counselors, for residents who are interested. Coordination of recreational and social activities for residents.

6. Coordination of the Volunteer Program. Health Education for college interns and high school students.

 

7. Case Management services for discharging residents to their home communities.

Prevents homelessness and unnecessary hospitalization, provides safety and security and improves general health. 

 

Better nutrition maximizes the positive effects of medication, thus improving health.

Residents receive access to medications and health care which were previously inaccessible.

 

Residents receive more consistent care when all services are monitored and transportation is available.

Improved medication compliance increases effectiveness and reduces the risk of developing drug resistance.

Services are tailored to meet the specific physical and psychological needs of every individual resident.

Residents and their families are given the opportunity to address spiritual and emotional issues.

Activities enhance the physical and psychological well being of residents. Interaction between residents and volunteers favorably affects both groups and the overall community.

High school and college students increase their level of knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS and share their experiences in the community. 

​

Residents receive assistance in finding and securing housing and establishing ongoing support systems for their care following discharge.
