House of Mercy is currently seeking candidates to serve on our Board of Directors. Our board meets on the first Tuesday of every other month at 6:30 PM for a meeting that lasts 1.5 to 2 hours (February, April, June, August, October, and December). Board members are also asked to serve on standing committees that meet several times a year at a time selected by the committee members. Board terms are generally 3 years in length. We are particularly in need of the following expertise: Development/Advancement, Marketing/PR, Human Resources, and Insurance. We are looking to increase our cultural diversity on the board.
