WHY WALK?

 

House of Mercy has provided hope, healing, and a home for 340 men and women living with HIV since its founding in 1991. We fulfill a critical need in the state of North Carolina, providing compassionate care for low-income people with HIV who can no longer care for themselves and face homelessness. By donating or raising funds in support of your walk, you will help dramatically change the lives of those we serve.

 

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000. In addition to corporate sponsorships, we need individuals and teams to participate and raise money in order to meet our fundraising goal.

 

HOW CAN I HELP?

 

Register for the Walk and bring your friends! Click here to register.

You will have the option to create your own fundraising page or join an existing one after you complete your registration.  Follow the included instructions to send us a photo or video of yourself in your Walk t-shirt, and let us know why you Walk for House of Mercy. Anyone who sends in a photo will be entered for a chance to win a prize and may be featured on House of Mercy's social media!

(Please note: registration includes a Walk packet with a t-shirt. For registrations received after September 1st, we cannot guarantee availability of requested t-shirt sizes or delivery prior to September 12th.)

Start a fundraising page and collect money for House of Mercy in support of your walk or your team's walk.

Make a donation! Even if you can't register and walk, you can still make a donation. Click here to donate.

 

Donations can also be made via mail. Checks payable to House of Mercy can be mailed to House of Mercy, P.O. Box 808, Belmont, NC 28012. Please note Walk for AIDS in the memo line, as well as any team affiliation you may have.

 

Be a sponsor. Do you work for or own a company that would be interested in sponsoring the 2020 Walk for AIDS? Sponsorship information is available through our sponsorship form. Click here to learn more or sign up as a sponsor.

 

Spread the word! Advertise the Walk by telling your family and friends. Ask your church, employer, or business to sponsor your Walk with a donation. Follow House of Mercy on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to like or share our posts about the Walk. (You can even share directly from the Event page!)
